Tehran hosts Kazakhstan’s trade representative to discuss this…

(MENAFN) An Iranian Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) official said a Kazakh trade representative will visit Tehran at the end of the current Iranian calendar month (ends June 21).

Rahmatollah Khormali, the TPO’s temporary head office for Central Asia, the Caucasus and Russia, said the Kazakh representative’s trip will be coordinated by the TPO and Kazakhstan’s QazTrade (Centre for Trade Policy Development).

A high-ranking official from Kazakhstan controlled by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Integration Bakhyt Sultanov also visited Iran last week in a bid to discover new opportunities for the growth of financial ties between the two nations.

Fatemi-Amin said that “Kazakhstan is a mineral-rich country and, like Iran, has large mining companies, and we can meet part of our needs for steel plates from Kazakhstan”, proposing that the Iran can also collaborate with Kazakhstan in other sectors like household equipment, medical kit and pharmaceutical companies.
