New sponsor named for Junior Achievement Discovery Center in Savannah
International Paper has donated $ 100,000 to the Junior Achievement (JA) Colonial Group Discovery Center of Savannah fundraising campaign, Junior Achievement of Georgia announced this week.
Their pledge will fund the renovation and launch of the facility on the Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University. The Center will be housed in the former student recreation center, which covers approximately 25,000 square feet.

Announced in September, the center is in collaboration with GSU and will offer real-world experiences such as running a business, balancing a budget and applying for a loan, to college students in the region through two main programs. , JA BizTown and JA Finance Park.
