GSIS will launch 2 applications for members’ access to recordings
Members of the GOVERNMENT Service Insurance System (GSIS) will soon be able to access their records and file auto insurance claims using their smartphones, as the state-run pension fund is set to launch this month. – these two mobile applications, according to the Ministry of Finance (DoF).
In a statement Thursday, the DoF said that the GSIS reported to Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez 3rd that the first mobile application dubbed “GSIS Touch”, will initially feature three modes of service, namely; eGSISMO (mobile version), the GSIS citizen charter and the directory of all GSIS agencies.
The GSIS Touch mobile app will allow active government employees to view their member service profile and service record, track their bonus and loan payments, and know when their life, retirement, dividend is due. , reimbursement and Edu-Child claims, preliminary plans and insurance policies.
“Retired government employees can also view their monthly pension releases and loan payments through said mobile app,” the finance department continued.
The mobile app also includes the GSIS Citizen’s Charter, which contains the step-by-step guide and turnaround times for all GSIS transactions and processes, as well as the directory of all GSIS branches nationwide. .
The second mobile app, meanwhile, allows GSIS policyholders to submit / send photos of their auto accident and insurance claim documents via their mobile phone, the DoF also noted.
“The road accident insurance claim will then be processed by GSIS without the vehicle owner having to personally file the claim,” he added.
