Advocata’s Let’s Reset SL conference to focus on economic reforms – Reuters







The Advocata Institute has organized the Reform Now conference to be held on August 5-6, 2022, with the theme ‘Let’s Reset Sri Lanka’.

This event will bring together policy makers, international experts, opinion leaders, the business community, civil society and citizens of Sri Lanka to discuss the reforms needed to overcome the current crisis.

The conference will bring together several expert panels, featuring local and global thinkers and scholars on a range of economic and social issues. This includes vital reforms in areas such as taxation, state-owned enterprises, social safety nets, trade policy and land policy.

The two-day forum will feature eminent experts, including former Governor of the Bank of Thailand (central bank), Dr Veerathai Santiprabhob and Professor Premachandra Athukorala of the Australian National University, who will deliver keynote speeches during both days.
